What to record for dry-back on a pharma label
Write whether the reading was wet or dry, and the time between. Metres or a sheet number are needed. Write whether it touched the batch number, the expiry date, or the barcode.
For dry-back on a pharma label, keep at least this: whether the reading was wet or dry, and the time between the two. If any of that is missing, the next shift cannot decide whether to change the part.

The record is for the next shift
Writing only “there is dry-back” does not help. The color just printed and the color after drying are not the same. After drying it is usually darker or duller. The place has to be with it. If it has touched the batch number, the expiry date, or the barcode, write in the record whether you already stopped or already let it go.
What to write
| Item | What it is for | If it is missing |
|---|---|---|
| Whether the reading was wet or dry, and the time between | Match it to a roll, a blade, or the material | Next time you guess from nothing |
| Metres or the sheet number | Find this place again | The complaint will not match |
| Whether it touched the batch number, the expiry date, or the barcode | Decide whether it can go or must stop | Only a good-looking picture is left |
Hand it to the next shift
- Write whether the reading was wet or dry, and the time between.
- Write whether it landed on the batch number, the expiry date, or the barcode.
- Use the name from the name list. Do not start a new word.
